ABSTRACT

This article seeks to represent the relationships between the most relevant terms of the researches about the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) indexed in the Web of Science from 2019 December to 2020 May. Characterized as an exploratory and descriptive research, the investigation method and technical procedures are based on the Concept Theory, by Ingetraut Dahlberg, for the conceptual analysis, and on the Social Network Analysis approach as well as on complex networks, for the structural analysis of the semantic network created from article titles. The results showed a network with a topological structure characterized as a small world, with some similar connections. The term 'covid-19' presents high transitivity in strongly connected groups, which comprise terms from different domains of knowledge and, sometimes, little related in the disciplinary context of the science. The conceptual relationship between the terms is functional. It was concluded that the interconnection between terms from different domains of knowledge generates groups of emerging terms, enhancing the urgency of interdisciplinary researches to understand the term that in this work is in focus 'covid-19'.

ABSTRACT

The purpose of the study was to develop a methodology to evaluate the impact of training in a technical and scientific information organization, integrating the main trends about the training process. The expert method was used to determine the causes - effects affecting training, whereas Saaty's method or analytic hierarchy process was used to hierarchically arrange the causes influencing this process and optimize decision making. The methodology developed integrates the main trends found in the study of training impact evaluation, starting from three stages (evaluation preparation, evaluation implementation and analysis of results) as well as the set of indicators and the corresponding feedback, allowing the permanent improvement of the context in which it is analyzed on an individual and organizational level. Finally, the methodology was validated with the expert consensus index(AU)

ABSTRACT

The information organization mode of Chinese medicine is a key factor of meeting informational or analytical demands on Chinese medicine. This paper summarized the research status on information organization mode of Chinese medicine by using the basic principle of multidimensional data model, designing basic dimensions of Chinese medicine and its concept hierarchies. Finally, with an example of information query, this paper designed the multidimensional data model of Chinese medicine based on the star pattern and a multidimensional query system of Chinese medicine information. Based on the multidimensional data model, the information organization mode of Chinese medicine can provide powerful supports for the multi-angle and multi-level query using of Chinese medicine information.

ABSTRACT

The great changes taking place in the environment of academic library were analyzed from the aspects of networked information environment, knowledge-based user needs and homogenized library resources. The main up-date development characteristics of academic library were described according to the current development situation in foreign and domestic academic libraries as revealed in our investigation, such as e-only of library resources, knowledge-based and embedded information service, associated, semantic and integrated information organization, incorporation of primary information resources into institutional knowledge property management, digital library emerged in scientific data monitoring centers, SoLoMo as the concept for creating the next generation mobile library service. It was pointed out that academic library will become the user-oriented knowledge service center that provides user-driving knowledge service and intelligent knowledge service in an all-inclusive knowledge management manner. It is thus necessary for academic library to attach more importance on the information needs of scientific workers, to strengthen the user-oriented professional work layout, application of information technology, interlibrary coopera-tion and resources-sharing, and to improve the information literacy of librarians.
